Alright. This is totaly on topic I am getting a male from JMG reptiles. He is a sunglow het raptor with a carrot tail. What would I get breeding him to a female who is a super hypo and a female who is a super hypo carrot tail. I don't kno what the parents are.

Dan & Alberto, have either of you hatched out any eclipse from just redstripes? How would you explain that seeing as there is no patternless stripe involved or is there? How can all the patterns be connected to the eclipse gene?
I have not hatched Red Stripes from RS X RS, but have never heard of this happening. I have seen some Patternless-type RS come out of Red Stripes, but have no idea if they produce Eclipses. IMO that would be the only way. Dan@ Hot Geckos had posted he has never even seen a Reverse Stripe come from that line.

The patterns are "connected" to the Patternless Stripe gene, because a PRS can give you any pattern. The Eclipse popped up out of the "Aptor" project, and Eclipse now seems to be its own "gene". In the same way that, "Patternless" came from the other patterns, now it carries the genes for those too.

That project did not carry the banded gene, until after the first year of outcrossing anyways.

Ashleigh, you should get Hypos/Super Hypos 100% Het Albino and possibly carrying Raptor genes. The carrotail, and other color can vary.

Alright well he is on his way now. As far as looking for another female. I want to pair all my males with three females. What should my next one be?

I am partial to the "Patternless Red Stripes", and have some of mine available.;) I feel they are good for outcrossing the R/Aptor lines.

I agree, but you can have a "multiple gene carrier" from a combination morph, which was proven by the Raptor/Patternless Stripe projects. It is pretty much the same thing to me either way.:)
