I lost a gecko once when I was breeding pictus geckos. Little bugger climed the corner silicone seam on a 10 gallon. Found him a week later in the hallway outside my room and my brother and I tried to catch him and got his tail instead. He turned up 3 months later in my brother's hamper in his closet. He was a little skinny and had no tail but we found him and he was back to his old pictus self.

Persistent little escapee-isn't he?
It is amazing to watch them use their tails to push themselves out of a place that they want to get put of
With indoor cats-I have every tank securely covered and it works well until i take a paper towel roll out of the tank and forget to check for any geckos inside

Im thinking about getting a boarder patrol on pay-roll. that will keep the little buggers in their tanks.
