I got my first leopard geckos, approx 8mns old, a couple weeks ago. I love them. I also have 6 bearded dragons so Im having to get used to the whole noctural thing with the leos. I was out tonight & bought 2 more female leos. A mac snow jungle & a hi yellow both approx 4mns old. I brought them home & put them in their own 2ft x 2ft enclosure for now. Their is 2 hides in there among other things. Well, the mac snow went in a hide but when the other tried to go in the same hide the mac started twitching the tip of her tail. The yellow one ignored it & climbed in anyway. So my question is, was this a "dont eat me thing" or "this is mine, u get out" thing? My other leos only do the tail twitching when something yummy passes by & their fixin to attack it. Thanks, crystal

Leopard geckos are solitary animals. Some will tolerate other geckos while others will not. Personally I never house geckos together. Some people have success with it but I don't think it is worth the risk of lost tails or other injuries.

It's not unusual for geckos placed together for the first time, or geckos that have been together but are being put in a new enclosure to do the slow tail wave thing, which essentially means "This is my territory, beware". Keep an eye on them and see how they do. If they are both eating and neither is stepping on or nipping the other they may be OK.
