Welcome! As far as tips, getting a Leo from a reputable breeder is a great place to start. If you get one from a pet shop you don't really know about it's genetic background or health status. You might browse through the general care and husbandry section and housing section for other helpful threads. And be prepared to be addicted! LOL

Welcome to GF. What are your plansn just pets or breeding? If just pets,then anythng you like is good. If breeding, then you might want to buy from a breeder. Just know that you might get a gecko with bad health from the chain stores.
