I recently acquired two Leos that were pretty impacted. The vet ruled out parasites and said to just give them warm baths every day and try to massage their bellies. The larger one is now passing sand, and has regurgitated. the little one is pooping normally, with the occasionally loose sand but is now vomiting mealworms. Both of the impacted ones are in tanks by themselves. Both are eating regularly, both are gaining weight, I just don't know where to turn now.

About your leo:
- Sex- Female and male
- Age & Weight- 1.5 years, 37g. 2 months, 17g
- How long have you owned your leo- 2 weeks
- Where was he/she obtained (ex. Pet store, breeder, wild caught, friend): LPS

A) Health/History
- How often do you handle your leo- every day for baths and to check impact ion
- Is your leo acting any different today? If so how does he/she normally act which differs from now.- acting normal
- Has he/she had any problems in the past, if so please describe.- was losing weight at pet store before I took it in, has been gaining weight steadily since.
B) Fecals
- Describe (look any different than normal)- Sandy, usually solid, but was occasionally liquid stool
- When was the last time he/she went- Today
C) Problem
- Please briefly describe the problem and how long it has been going on- Impacted for 1 month, has been passing sand for last week, eats, then regurgitates mealworms, but has still been gaining weight.
Male is impacted, has been for three weeks. Eats normally, poops normally, but regurgitates some, not all, meals.

If they're gaining weight even though they're regurgitating, they may just need to learn to reduce their intake. It happens to normal leos as well. Give them a little more time.

I was just concerned since they were impacted, but now that I think about it, the store has a Maintenence diet policy (I hate it). Since I left my other three (who were from breeders) with bowls of mealworms when I did the same for the other two, it must have the whole "we only get a little food twice a week so I'll eat everything" mentality.

I use a temp gun as well at probe digital thermometers as well as analog thermometers (usually just to make sure hot is hot and cold is cool). All the temps are within 2 or 3 degrees of each other, with the exception of the analog which is 5 off. But that isn't reliable anyways. So I'd say it's all fairly accurate.
