Importing Mealworms?

Tried searching and didn't seem to find an answer. So in our quest to find mealworms...does anyone know what the laws are in regards to importing them from say Canada? It would appear that this shortage is only affecting us here in the US. I'm just curious if a person would have all the red tape bull when trying to have them shipped in? Maybe it wouldn't be worth it even if it's legal and all ...dunno just thinking here. ...really hate crickets!

Not to sure about that. You can get Leos from up there so I don't see why you couldn't get mealies as well. But whter or not it would be worth it is another story. Have you tried Super worms yet? They come in all Different sizes. Silworms are excellent feeders as well. Lots of people are using roaches these days as well.
