I really want a bp. I have a few questions though.
Is it easier to just buy a baby? Or what's a good size to buy?
And where do you buy your feeders?

Its really up to you. Most breeders wont sell them until they shed and have eaten a couple of times. When you look around and talk to the breeder be sure and find out what he is feeding it. Mice or rats, live or frozen thawed. You can order feeders in bulk which if you only have one snake is a good idea. But if you get more than one you can breed your own rats.

I dont really see a big difference between my young ones and the older ones. They get in moods every know and again. Its always safer to feed F/T but sometimes you will have a snake that will not eat that.

Be prepared that no matter what age ball yuo get you're likely to sooner or later run into a difficult eating issue. Ours goes off food every october, november until about the end of may beginning of june. Balls can be notoriously picky eaters... we got ours at a nice reptile shop as a juvie no more than a foot long. Loki was always pretty docile but the one we had originally picked out thought she was a pit viper. Make sure their easy to handle when you purchase them as they aren't going to get any easier once you get them home if they have a poor temperament. Electra was NOT your typical Ball... loki however is VERY nice and docile and actually likes his chin and head scratched. that's him in my avatar :D We breed our own colony of feeders. It use to be mice but since the last purchased additions to the colony had flea mites and killed the whole colony we decided to go to getbils, their natural food in the wild, not only to see if it makes a more consistant eating snake but because well... it's their naturally preferred food in the wild :D A small colony is very easy to raise and since your snake will eat 3-4 per feeding you don't have to worry about storaing a lot of rodents. Loki won't eat frozen/thawed or even fresh killed for that matter. It's live or not at all for that boy. We just put him into a seperate feeding tank since his regular tank is a 90 gallon naturally decorated it would be very easy to loose a gerbil in there and even harder to get one out :D it makes it easy to monitor the feeding process with out all teh cage decor in there blocking the view. This way we can ensure that loki doesn't get bitten or attacked by the gerbil.
