Many do. I feed my adults every 3 days when breeding season is over. About 1/3 of them are eating nearly normally, 1/3 are barely eating and 1/3 haven't eaten in a few weeks and will probably brumate soon. Many of my geckos put on 20 grams or more after breeding season and will most likely use this accumulation to get themselves through the winter.

No joke, my male Roger hasnt eaten in 4 weeks now and still wont even attempt to catch/eat anything! Its super annoying but I suppose its normal. My female will still eat 1-2 morio worms every day. I do strongly believe that a gecko (just like every animal in the world) wont starve themselves to death if food is proveded to them. They will eat if/when they HAVE to.

oooh, I have a question about this:
Does this pertain to smaller/younger geckos as well??

I have some that are...maybe 4 months old that are eating a little less.
For some it seems like food boredom, so I switched up feeders, and now they're eating better.
But for one, she still isn't interested.

I want these 4 month olds to eat because they're all at the 30-40 gram weight range, and I want them to put on weight for NEXT season so I can breed them.:main_laugh:

my female has started to slow down on her eating too. she used to eat every day, but now she eats about every four to five days, but she does gorge herself when she does decide to eat, and let me tell you....thats one HUGE dump from a little lizard! lol
