incubating for a female then raising the temp.

ive heard it takes 2 to 3 weeks to get the sex of the gecko if you want females but why would you want to raise the temp in the incubator ?if you want nice bright geckos just breed nice bright geckos i heard ron temper does this but i dont like this practice at all you would need at least 2 incubators running at the same time to do this one to determine the sex and then one to have the raise the temps a bit i just dont think its logical to do

The reason most breeders do not do this or do not like the method is because it can cause the embryo to die or hatch with defects... Bottom line, it is not advised... As mentioned, if you want to produce bright, colorful geckos, start you breeding projects with bright, colorful geckos...
