incubating on male temps

This year, I´m incubating some eggs for male for the first time. Now I've got a question about how long "male eggs" take to hatch. After some reading, in books and on websites, I would think, they take about 35 to 45 days, am I right?
(I'm incubating at 32°C by day and 29°C by night.)

That leads me to another question regarding the oldest egg in that incubator (42 days now). I just don't know if it's fertile or not . . . . It's bright yellow when I candle it. But it's not going bad: There is no mold or anything else, it's not flabby . . . What do you think, when should I give up hope? :main_huh:

Well, I don't breed but I don't think you are supposed to fluctuate temps like that, from 32-29. If the egg isn't rotting I would give it until about 55 days before giving up. There can always be those weird eggs. Do you see any veins in it?

Don't give up until it's obviously garbage... I've had eggs hatch at that temp in 42-43 days, but it's odd...

Hmm, ive hatched over 50 geckos this year and actually have only had 1 egg not hatch that didn't go bad. They always went bad on me, or if they went to term they hatched.

No, none, not even a tint of pink . . .

That's what's making me that unsure . . . Every infertile egg (looking yellow when candled) I've ever had went bad within the first 2 or 3 weeks, but not this one . . .

Huuuhhhhh, maybe I'm just to impatient to be a breeder . . . :main_laugh:
