Incubation Method Question

So I'm wondering if the sex is determined within a certain amount of time at the beginning of incubation, can the temperature be raised afterward to speed up hatching? For instance, say you incubate at 81 degrees for a certain amount of time and then once you are sure sex has been developed you raise it to 90. I know temperature fluctuations are bad but what about one large temperature increase?

I have never tried it myself but remember reading on the forums in the past about people who did it and had a higher percentage of deformities. Maybe someone who has had that experience will reply,.
