Incubation temp changes

I have 8 eggs that have been incubating at 83 degrees for 52 days. But like a week ago my house got really hot. And the incubator got to be 90 degrees, so I took them out of the incubator and put them in my room, the temp was still 88 degrees. That was for 3 days. Now they are back at 83 degrees Will my hatchlings be deformed from the change in temperature?

It could go either way, but plenty of people have hatched healthy babies in spite of temperature spikes. The most important thing is what are you going to do this summer if you live in a place where it could be above 90 for days or more? I move my incubator to the basement for the summer. Hopefully you have the ability to do something like this.

We have AC but didn't want to turn it on yet, since it was only April. I candled the eggs and the 4 eggs getting ready to hatch look like they are turning white. Is that normal? These are my first good leopard geckos, I don't know what to look for, like I do for crested geckos.

When eggs candle white, they are almost ready to hatch. Good luck with them!! I hope you get some nice little babies soon.
