incubation temps

hey everyone, what are the best temps to incubate? my female just laid 2 eggs and i have them in my husbands ball python incubator which the temps are set at 88.9*, is that too high?

The temp you have now is at the upper extreme. I incubate for female at 82; 84-85 will give you a mixture and higher would likely result in males. You should probably wait to hear from people who generally incubate for male.

generally, 80-84 is females, 84-86 is a mix and 86-90 is usually hatches out males.

So incubating at that temp you'll probably get mostly males. So the temp your incubating is fine, just be prepared for some studs to be hatchin out :)

Make sure to house them separately. The first 2 weeks or month they will be fine together but after that separate them.
