Incubator that Cools

My herp room can sometimes get too hot to incubate females. I was looking at building a mini fridge incubator and was wondering if anyone out there has made a custom incubator that both heats and cools. I'm aware of the production model options and I own one. I'm just wondering if there is a DIY option out there. Thanks!

Can you move the incubator to another room with more stable temperatures?

I used to keep the hobovator in the basement during the summer. There are enough mini heat/cooling fridges out there for less than $200 so you shouldn't have to make your own unless you want to. I'm a little concerned that none of these fridges switch into cooling mode at an appropriate enough time to keep the temps correct and I had trouble with this last year, though I have to say that this year things are going better.

I'd get a working mini fridge and add heating. Hook up both to thermostats so it can multifunction.

I just got the EXO-TERRA DIGITAL THERMO ELECTRIC INCUBATOR I just bought it but looks like an easy bake oven.

We just threw away an easy bake oven last week. Crap. I could have used another small incubator.

If an incubator had a cooling feature, it would need to have coolant to circulate through sealed internal system.

a Peltier element (http://www.amazon.com/TEC1-12706-Thermoelectric-Peltier-Cooler-Volt/dp/B002UQQ3Q2) can cool without any liquid coolant; they are commonly used in computer systems to remove heat. the linked item was just the first one that came up in the search and not necessarily useful for this purpose.

i jsut turn on the air conditioner in the house if the incubator can't hold the proper temp.
