Has anyone ever used a Little Giant Air Incubator http://www.tractorsupply.com/webapp...16201|28385?listingPage=true&Special=falseand if so what is the temp range(highest and lowest temperature)? Note: Not a Hovabator, no wafer thermostat its an electric thermostat.

It looks a lot like a Hovabator without the wafer controller. It's cheaper, but it doesn't look as deep, though...

I just picked up a used Little Giant Incubator from my friend hes letting me borrow it as long as I need it although I am going to purchase me one here soon. I will try and see what the highest temp goes up on it for you.

You might have to hack off that wire to even get your eggs with the containor in.

If it keeps a better constant temp the the hova does I'll get one

I picked up a little giant incubator a week ago and have had it up and running since i got it home to see what the variences would be and so far over the week it hasnt moved more than 1 degree +/- what i got it dialed into(82). I think the only reason it did that was because i didnt turn the heat on one cold night and the house got pretty cool and it dropped a degree. But so far im impressed. Its a pain to get set just like the hovas but once i got it dialed in it seems to be really stable.

The problem I have is that the temp in my house varries so I need something with a little more insulation than my hova right now which varies way too much.

Eric, I ended up getting around 110 degrees out of the Little Giant incubator. that was the highest ive seen it get to with the dial turned as far as it will go. I hope this helps.
