but like said i want learn first thing bout incubator and the advancements of incubator everything i need know... and if theres websites or anything... lay it on me... i want know everything before i start... that way i Know what im doing not just comming into a situation and going at it step by step.

also as far as breeding what kinda precaution should i take in? what kinda method is best... how do i know that there gunna have babies. and how do i know wen itll happen? also once it does happen how long does it usually take to hatch the egg's and how long ones the female is fertlized with the male. does it take for them to have eggs come out?

Thanks for anyones help...

also off this topic but in some peoples signatures i see like 2.0:1 says like bearded dragon what does that mean? i was allways wondering that. :)

as far as breeding is concerned, be prepared to care and house all of them until you can sell them. also dont count on being able to sell them all its a iffy thing. take into consideration that it will also not make you rich, its more for the experience. secondly as soon as you introduce a male with your female you should get some action. if she stands up tall and sways her tail she may not want him but sooner or later may give in. make sure they are a good size and healthy as well, at least 50g. i think mine usually took 3 months to see eggs but its hard to say because my male always lived with them after i introduced em. make sure you provide enough calcium because thats a key ingredient in the egg shell plus having babies makes moms vitamin defficient. the eggs will hatch at different times depending on the temps. if temped for males 89-90 id say 4 weeks if 85ish 6weeks the lower the temp the longer. also if high temps you get brighter colors, lower temps come out darker. remember you can house more than one hatchling together if you have to but after each clutch you will have different sizes so to avoid bullying have a few tanks ready. you can make a incubator but id suggest buying a incubator for around 60 bucks. also set the temps up a few days before you expect the eggs so its a steady temp, it can fluctuate for a few days.

Things to Think about Before Breeding Reptiles

As for incubators, you can make one with a styrofoam cooler, purchase as hovabator, or a nature's spirit. The nature's spirit incubators are probably one of the better incubator choices- just make sure to get a thermostat.

You'll know when leopard geckos are ready when you see the eggs. They usually stop eating a few days before laying.

I think you've got a long way. :-\

As for the money. There are a few exeption that you'll actually make money. I have them listed of the link above. But, for the most part, you're not going to make money. Just because 1 person will pay $100 doesn't mean everyone will. I have never resold a reptile for the same price as purchase. a year or so ago, I purchased a male Trempor het APTOR for about $150 and couldn't sale it for any more than $50. The time frame between purchase and resale was about 6 months. I decided I didn't need him in my projects anymore.
