these are our last two for the season unless our other eggs "surprise us" (they appear infertile).. but anyway, these two are from a Mack Snow Patternless X Mack Snow Patternless 100% het. Rainwater albino, and they hatched around the same time (which was a first for us!) very early this morning.

We know that these two are at least both Mack Snow Patty, but we believe one to be a Super Snow Patty (but we aren't very sure!). What do you guys think?

Here's the first one that hatched, who definitely looks like a MSP:

and here's the one that looks like a MSP, but we honestly thought could be a SSP..? I cannot confirm the eyes yet, but it looks like it has that stripe down it's back that is signature of a SS.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics :main_thumbsdown:

Beautiful babies.

I really love their color and patterns.

I would love to see them grow up. They are sure gonna be beautiful. Take care of them! And congrats!

No, the first one has a "stripe" down it's back, but that's just the white pattern making it look that way.. the second one's "stripe" is different, it's a whitish stripe all the way down the back, but underneath the white pattern area.. does that make sense??

Thanks though :D

Oh wow, they both have beautiful, very distint markings.
Congratulations!

Are you thinking of giving them themed names for their 4th of July birthday? lol

neither is a SS patty because they hatch completely patternless, but congrats on the 2 mack patties:main_thumbsup:

Thanks so much everyone!

So do they lighten up a lot as they age, or..? Some do, some don't? The mother is very very pink and the father is very very white (but gets really dark also). He changes color based on his mood, and the female doesn't.. I guess it's just a toss-up? One of the babies looks like it's lightening up quite a bit already

Will you use patriotic names? Like Washington, Uncle Sam, July, Independence, and so on?

^LOL that's not a bad idea.. perhaps Liberty and Indy or something :) or maybe Pass and Stow..

edit: Mike and I agree and really like Pass and Stow, so those can now be their names!
