Here is the beautiful little sunglow I picked up at the Midwest Reptile Show in Indy over the weekend.
I purchased her from Shawn Aubrey at Aubrey's Reptiles :main_thumbsup:
These pictures do not do her justice... she is just amazing in person, a bit spastic but she seems to be a fast learner.
I'm fairly certain that I'm going to name her Aurora... what do you guys think?
The day of the show just happened to be the same day of the massive wind storm that blew through my area. Had I known it was going to be such a bad storm, I would have held off bringing this girl home... We were without power until early Monday morning, we sustained alot of damage to our roof, lost several trees, and whatever we had sitting on the back porch is now long gone. I wasn't quite sure that we were going to make it home Sunday, as there was a great deal of rather large debris flying across the interstate... but despite the hetic arrival, this girl has done great and is already eating for me.
I had been in the process of purchasing another stunning sunglow from OG Geckos, but unfortunately I had to put it on standby, at least until everything stablizes here. We are one of the few neighborhoods with power right now, and it's very iffy as to whether or not our power is going to stay on.
I really feel for you guys close to the Gulf Coast... if Ike was able to hit us this hard all the way in Indiana... I hate to think of how bad things are down there. Stay safe.
