Infertile eggs?

I got my first eggs of the season this morning but I think they are infertile :( They are still squishy and soft and havent hardened at all. I found them about 12 hours ago. How long after laying does it take them to harden up? I wouldn't have thought it would be this long. Could it be I didn't supply enough calcium? I dust every feeding and have a dish 24/7. They will stay in the incubator anyway, just incase.

Thanks, theres hope for them yet then. Did yours hatch btw? When I bought the female I was told she had bred well last season so I'm a little confused as to why they may be dud eggs. Of course I have no proof she has bred before. My other female thats due to lay soon is her first season so I wouldn't be surprised if some of hers are infertile. I'll kinda gutted if they are dud as my 2 girls were kept with a nice blazing blizzard before I bought them :) So theres a good chance the eggs are his and not my male!!

The general rule is to incubate them regardless until they hatch or are definitely bad i.e. molded beyond belief or totally collapsed... I as well as many others have hatched healthy babies from eggs that most people would throw away...
