How shall I input Diablo Blanco in Genetic Wizard? Do I need to break it down to the following?
- Homozygous Tremper albino
- Homozygous Blizzard
- Homozygous Raptor (or eclipse?)

Am I on the right track?
What does het Diablo Blance means? Het for the whole package? So its either all of the above or none? Or shall I think of it as a package of separate genes? i.e. will I get Blizzards or Raptors from Tremper Albino het DB x Tremper Albino het DB?

To give you an idea. this image shows you an example of a male DB and a female Tremper Albino het for Blizzard and Eclipse(but a true raptor would need also the patternless stripe gen<-- you won´´t see the difference as the Blizzard is patternfree haha)

Thanks Thorsten, that means if I want to input Diablo Blanco into the genetic wizard, I do need to break it up into homozygous blizzard + tremper + eclipse. Then for Blanco het DB, that'll be:
- Homozygous blizzard
- Homozygous tremper
- Het eclipse
Am I correct? Isn't that the same as Blazing Blizzard het Eclipse? So what is the difference between het DB and het eclipse? I think I'm getting all mixed up...lol.

p.s. Shouldn't the example "female Tremper Albino het for Blizzard and Eclipse" be the other way round?
- Homozygous tremper
- Het blizzard
- Het eclipse
?

They usually call het DB whatever is carrying the three genes but not showing the three of them externaly. So an het DB can be...

- Normal het Tremper, Blizzard and Eclipse.
- Tremper het Blizzard and Eclipse.
- Blizzard het Tremper and Eclipse.
- Eclipse het Tremper and Blizzard.
- Tremper Blizzard (blazing blizzard) het Eclipse.
- Blizzard Eclipse het Tremper.
- Tremper Eclipse (RAPTOR) het Blizzard.

Oh, and there's no difference between a Blazing Blizzard het Eclipse and the so called Blanco. Just a commercial name Ron Tremper made up for it. Fortunately the world has refused to use that nomenclature...

And yes, hahaha, you are right Bonnie, Thorsten messed up a little bit.

ahhh lol yeah I made a mistake *G*G*G*G*G*
THat female is an Eclipse Blizzard het Tremper lol.

And Sandra is right. everything with the genes is het for DB.

BTW normaly if meaning a real Raptor, the bodypattern gen had to be taken in the calculation. Someone told me it is a combo of 2 stripe genes that are acting like a rezessive gen so this would need to be added in the calculation if you want to take exactly what tremper said he made(even though, a red eyed BB will ever be a DB as you can´t realy see if he is a pattystripe I guess<-- breeding would proof it I guess).

The patternless stripe in RAPTORs is made by crossing normal stripes with reverse stripes. About how it works later, I don't know. I wouldn't venture to say it works like a recessive mutation. I think more research should be done on the aberrant morphs. I usually tell people to expect jungles/stripes from these kind of crosses, but I wouldn't put it in the genetics wizard and take the "het patternless stripes" as accurate.

Not that pattern matters much when making DBs.

Sandra you are right. I always thought it would have been 1 gen.
A friend told me its a combo of stripe and reverse stripe which normaly wouldn´´t act like rezessive but somehow does act like that from time to time.
I guess it´´s like Jungle. Sometimes it is like Rezessive sometime linebreed.

It´´s true you can´´t realy use it for the genetics wizard but at least it has to be mentioned(okay nor for the DB haha).

BTW that´´s why I love the Raptor* het Raptor pairing, the wide range of possible outcomes is just awsome and so much fun(when eggs are hatching :)
