I usually know what to expect when I breed my leopard geckos, but I've had some interesting and unexpected outcomes so far this season:
1. My mack snow x mack snow has yielded so far 10 Mack snows, 3 non snows but no super snows
2. Tremper albino x SHTCT eclipse possibly het for albino (trying to prove her out): first hatchling has eclipse eyes! The Tremper male was born in 2004, before the eclipse eye was identified. I've since heard (though I have no specifics) that there are some other breeders with older Trempers who have seen the eclipse gene make its appearance.
3. Mack snow het eclipse x SHTCT albino het eclipse: first 2 hatchlings - an eclipse and . . . a super snow! I guess the female is a Mack snow as well, though the breeder has not yet responded to my email. This is even weirder when you consider #1 above (13 hatchlings with snow x snow and no super snow).
