I can tell you that if you get you meal worms from a retail store where the first half of the name is pets and the last half of the name is mart (yes no tiny stars!) than your mealworms were fine, because the employees get immediatly notified and I was not notified

I just called and tried to listen to the message regarding pesticide, but they must have changed it. Now all it says is that they won't have meal worms until next year.

Oh wow. That is so sad. I have to admit that I was getting misty-eyed when reading about all the gecko deaths and birth defects. I'm new to geckos but I have always felt that no innocent creature should suffer a wrongful death. Too sad

i hope that's true... all we were told was "there's a disease or something that killed off the breeding stock" and then "expect periodic and small shipments of mealworms". not very informative to say the least.

i have not heard of any problems with them from customers or coworkers though. :|
