It never fails. Right about early to mid August, just about all the geckos start eating like crazy and putting on weight, to be followed by the early to mid September decline of interest in food. My super snow male who had winter respiratory infections, didn't really eat for months and was 63 grams in June is now 82 grams. Even my picky eaters are eating. I find it really comforting to have the seasonal stuff happen the way it should.

LOL, maybe that is what is going on here. My originals are about fat as bears and my new ones are eating like they are starving to death. I have never noticed the seasonal stuff until this year. I was shocked to see how much all of them are eating. I just thought it was the heat that was making them extra hungry. I learn something new everyday.

Just don't get worried when in 1-2 months they slack off a lot. That's when I back off on feeding and only offer every 3 days unless anyone is still laying.
