Intro'd female to male enclosure today.
aftera few mins,t he male and female were smelling each other, then the male gave the female a little nip on its tail.
couple hours later, we found female sleeping int he exo terra reptile den which the male usually resides in...she seemed ok but had 3 more superficial marks on her body. two ont he body one on the tail.

i will post videos soon. of what theyar e like together.
if you could let me know if its over aggression or normal asserting of dominance.

but when they see each other, they dont really fight, the male doesnt really care much for the female being there.

correct me if i am wrong, but i assume that the female got bit cos she entered his house?
we took the house out and now they reside differently in the tank.

any feedback?

The biting is part of the mating ritual. The male & female were mating. The male nibbles the tail and parts of the body.

Also, it's typically better when introducing different sexes to have the male go into the female's habitat rather than the female into the male's. It could be a dominance thing.

agreed. mating most probably did occur. but i would put the female back in her enclosure and put the male in there as well. leave him in there about a week. is she female ovulating?
