Introducing a new Leo to the family

As my sig states I have three Leos now, The Juvie male I keep seperate but now that I have the SHTCT, I want to add he to the same viv as Draco(Draco is actually a girl...the previous owners sexed her wrong).

Is there any behaviors I should keep a look out for to make sure that they get along? I don't really want to get another viv but I will if the girls don't quite get along.

First anytime you get a new leo it should be kept seperate for 30-60 days to make sure it is healthy

Ditto-you are only asking for possible problems if you do not quarantine new arrivals

Many people have lost tons of Leos with just putting them together right after bringing new ones home

We don't say this to be preachy-I for one-sadly speak from early experience with learning the hard way

BTW-I quarantine for 90 days or more and I have Leos that have never been in with another Leo their whole lives

Please set up another tank or tub

Introducing a new Gecko

Ok. Lets say he waited his 30,60 or 90 days before introducing.....Lets go back to his original question. What is the best way to introduce a new Gecko to one or more other geckos? I also, have that same question. I have one female now but I will be getting my second one (female) on Tuesday. I do have another tank set up but I will want to put them together in time. Thanks for your help.

You're wanting to put the girls together? Look for fighting and weight loss. One female may bully the other one, especially if she's bigger and get most of the food.

Yes, they would be two females. So it sounds like if there is problems it wouldn't be seen right away but could be a gradual problem. I guess I was just thinking of them attacking each other immediately (I don't know how often this happens). Thank your for your help. That does help a lot. I was nervous when I got Sobe so now I am a little nervous with the second one with putting them together in time. thanks again!
