Introducing a new leo to the tank.

So I've had a SHTCH in my other tank (had her since a juvenile) shes only 3 grams smaller than my other leos.

I put her in the big tank two days ago and I've noticed she likes to hide in the cave alot... Should I give her a week and if she doesn't come out put her back in the racks?

hehe I set up a webcam inside the tank to see if she comes out while I'm sleeping, she only came out two times and then ran back in the cave... Shes not scared of the other leos, its more so the size of the tank... The enclosure shes been in since she was born is very different than the one shes in now... And its 6 times bigger.

A lot of people feel that geckos do best in racks where it is enclosed and they will probably say to put her back in the rack with what she's used to. I feel that many geckos can adapt and thrive (not just survive). My geckos are all in tanks and they range from being out of hides all the time to being in hides all the time. I recommend you give her more time to adjust (if you want to explore the adapting possibility) and judge whether this is a good environment for her not so much by how much she stays in the hide, but by whether she's eating and shedding normally.

That's what I was thinking cause I do believe she will be very happy in this tank!! I was going to give her a week or two see how she adapts.. Jus wanted to see what some more experienced people would say!! Thanks for your comment
