Hey guys,
I'm really enjoying these forums, so I figured I'd introduce myself.
I'm Jayme, a college student to be at Florida State University and reptile freak. I've kept a bearded dragon, a veiled chameleon, and have bred jackson's chameleons. But currently I just have my leopard gecko, Jasper. I've had him for roughly 7 months now. He's a high yellow and definitely has a mind of his own, as I've seen with his attitudes and temper tantrums. He doesn't particularly like me, but knows I'm the hand that takes him to the bed, which he loves exploring. He'll willingly crawl right on my hand which I'm very happy about.
Currently we're having a bit of a eating crisis.. it'd be so much easier if he could be like other geckos and just settle for mealworms.
Sadly I won't be able to take care of him as long as I'm going to be living in the dorms.. instead my folks will have to care for him while I'm away. But once I have an apartment, things will change. (probably have wall to wall tanks and a crazy electric bill.)
Let's see.. what else..
I'm so much of a reptile freak that went I went to my first reptile show I actually nearly fainted from the excitement of being around so many reptiles and their supplies.. XD Yeah, I'm a dork, I know.
And my favorite type of geckos are the eclipses and enigmas, because of their cool eyes!
