I've never seen anyone keep an opossum as a pet before, that's really cute

first saw them in Hamm, it was love at first sight

had to wait to find someone in the UK that had some for sale
went to look at them with no intention of buying them
2 weeks later she is home with me now

think she is awesome
will be brilliant once she is completely tame

She's really cute, I love the white patches on the tips of her ears. How old is she?

she is roughly 4 months old
getting tamer by the day
she loves sitting on my daughters shoulders and being given a tour of the house,
she is getting very spoilt !!!

Oh, I love possums. Are they legal where you are? I know it's not legal to have them as pets in the states. I rehabbed a couple though and they are great- I really wish they were legal to own. They are very VERY messy when full grown though, so watch out. No sense of a 'potty corner' at all, and they walk right through their own poo... fling food everywhere... an outdoor enclosure at least 5'x5' would be more ideal.

she is litter trained at the moment
a bit of a noisy eater but she does not make any more mess than a puppy


took her out for a walk last night which she seemed to enjoy
