As some of you know, I have been searching like crazy for a Dachshund breeder in my area, and wouldn't you know it, there was one about 30minutes from my house.

So on Sunday we went to visit them and fell in love, with a 4 month old, long haired chocolate and tan female Doxie, the breeders named "Sassy".
Obviously, I fell in love.
Now, they had younger pups. But, I liked her best. Awesome personality, plus a gorgeous coat, but the personality stunned me.
So, we left, and the next morning dad agreed to getting her.
So, obviously, I am wicked excited.
After a long time of searching, and a few spats about how to obtain one, I am getting my first dog.
From a reputable breeder.

[Again, I can't stress enough how for adoption I am, but in this case, it being my first case, I wanted to get from a breeder.
We've adopted other animals before, and when my mom was growing up, all their dogs were adopted. Adoption will be in my future, just this time, I wanted a breeder. So please don't try to make me feel bad for buying instead of adopting, thanks]

Now. We will be going there to visit and pay again, probably this weekend, and we need to puppy proof the house some more. But yes, my first dog. It's an indescribable feeling. Just like when I first got Lakota, I had wanted a ferret for like, 6 years.
So yeah. I will upload more pictures, but for now this is all I have.

"Sassy" won't be her name anymore either. It's a fine name....but not for her and her personality. I am probably going with, "Scout" instead, because she strikes me as an adventurous, curious pup.
So yeah, here's "Scout" everyone, isn't she a pretty girl?

She's so cute and I think Scout is a great name! Hopefully the breeder has been working on potty training so your work is easier. Speaking from experience, make sure she can't get to your electronics cords. I had a red dapple that ate my mom's computer cords at that age...she was not pleased.

Congrats!!!!

Oh Man the Puppy Days. my dog was 3months old and only 3lbs but man on oh man she some how demolished a sofa cushion all by herself when i wasn't home by jumping the baby gate I had put in place, Lol. Please! Secure your house left and right, up and down and everything in between. My dog with everything secure still managed to get into trouble. They are curious little bugs, mine at 5 would jump out of the window if I let her. lol
