I have a general question regaurding introducing two female leopard geckos...

what should i expect? Fighting? Getting along? Ignoring each other?

what reactions have you had when introducing two geckos together?

Thanks for your help!

I haven't tried it, though I would imagine there should be ample space and hides, and if there's any fighting the "introductions" should stop right there.
Why do you need them together?

i kinda have a space issue right now. so yeah, if possible, i would like to eventually house three females in a 20 gal long tank as long as they all got along.

It varies with the individuals. I have one female who just like to be dominant with some of the other girls and gives them a small bite here and there, but this normally stops after a few days once they've established a hierarchy. But all my other females get along just fine with eachother. She's just rotten, she's lucky she's pretty, lol.

Most females will be just fine together, just give them plenty of hides so they can get away from each other if the need.

All of our females have all been really mellow. We haven't had any problems with them getting along. They will do the initial lick and greet to see who their dealing with and usually in a few days they are sleeping with their heads on each other all in the same hide :)

They should be o.k. as long as they are realitvly the same size. Just make sure you observe them for a little when they are introduced

Yeah I have one the same way. She was in the tank with a male for a couple weeks. I took him out and put my other two females in with her. She showed them two that this is her house and now they're just fine. I find them all three laying in the same wet hide all the time.
