Here are some geckos that are in iraq. I dont know what species they are but they are pretty interesting. They are about 3 to 4 inces long and have toe pads. They remind me of a house gecko. Enjoy

That definitely looks like some sort of Hemidactylus species. But don't quote me on that as its just an educated guess ;)

Looks like Hemidactylus turcicus (I think that's spelled correctly) or the Mediterranean house gecko. That species has set up shop all over the world. I've heard of populations all over the US, including Florida, Texas, Kansas (no kidding) and several other states.

That is true. I caught a baby crawling around in a hallway of an office when I was working at a customer's location 4 years ago in the Houston area. I have a picture of it on one of my computers somewhere. I took it outside, took some pictures and set it free. :D

Keep up the good work Jimmy. If more people spent time shooting pics we'd all be better off. Now you've got me on a mission tonight to compare the geckos around here, ours are smoother looking.
