Irregular Stools

I'm worried my gecko has a parasite,

I've had her less than 3 weeks and her stools are varying day to day, sometimes they are black and white and hard looking, sometimes they are a little runny.

As i haven't had her very long i'm not 100% what her normal stool or character is so I cant tell if she's unwell or losing weight.

Shes still very active and bright and her skin looks healthy and is eating and intersted in food so im really not sure!

Can anyone help?

Sometimes there stool can have clear fluid with it especially if its fresh. If the stool itself is "runny" you may want to get a fecal done by a vet to make sure there is no problem. (better to be safe than sorry)
Runny stool can be caused by low temps, stress, or an illness of some sort (to name a few)

I normally see them fresh in the evening and black and white if I see them in the morning so maybe i'm being a little paranoid...

I'll continue to keep an eye on her and see if her temperament or anything changes.

If you see a fresh poo, it's normal that it has some liquid around it. As long as there is a good white urate attached to a nice solid log, it's ok.

Get a stool sample to your vet.
Simple solution. No guessing

Have you noticed if it changes based on what you're feeding?

yes, i spoke to the lady in the pet shop and she suggested just feeding her mealies and since then her stools have been completely healthy. i've now stopped feeding her crickets all together and shes getting a lovely fat tail now
