Is a 10 gallon okay for 1 gecko?

I know people recommend a 20 gallon, but in a way I'm glad I got a 10. He's usually in his cave and sometimes he'll explore or lay on his log for a while, and it's back in his cave. He doesn't seem cramped at all. I only have 1 hide, and I put paper towels in there when he turns white. So the space seems fine.

I have mine in a 20 long, but that's just my preference

10 gal is the general size for a single adult
