Got my new female on Saturday from the pet store and she has been doing great. Eating lots, pooping lots, sleeps a lot in the day but is alert and more active at night.

I went to feed her tonight and noticed her stomach seems a bit bloated. I noticed a bit of a darker color on it as i lifted her hide off her but nothing that looked really bad.

Her temps have been 90-95 most of the day, dropping a little on a night.

She is only supposed to be a few weeks old and i havent had one this young before so im not sure if i should be worried. She was on sand at the shop but shes on paper towel now and doesnt seem to have passed any sand. I know the sand they keep them on is very fine and when i got my other 2 from the same shop they passed the sand in a day or 2. She did have what looked like a calcium poop yesterday, very grey as if she'd been eating a lot of powder.

She is way too squigly to take pictures and i dont want to grab her and keep her still to take some incase i hurt her.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks :) She does seem to be ok but u know what "new mothers" are like...panicking at the slightest thing :main_rolleyes:

She's sleeping atm but will check on her a little later to see how she is :) Needless to say she left me a poop to find this morning as usual :D

Had a check on her while i cleaned the poop and her stomach seems normal again now. I took the rocky cave thing out and put a coconut one in so i can check on her easier.

She ate a few worms and had a wander around so hopefully she will be fine :D

Weird thing this happens to me after I get done eating also. Perhaps it is contagious.

Haha me too :D Too much pizza isnt always a good thing :p

Im just a little nervous atm as ive never had geckos this small b4. I couldnt help myself and had to get another baby, a patternless, very chilled out and nosey :)

A little smaller than the first but they seem to be getting on well :) Using each others tails as pillows :D

Today the new one, which we have named Maggie, ate her first ever mealworms :main_thumbsup: After licking it for a bit and wondering what it was she ate about 6. I noticed her throat seemed a bit puffed out and was worried she may regurgitate some of them but after she had a little nap her neck went normal and shes fine :D

Until they get to a size where i can comfortably handle them and get used to them i think im gonna be panicking about something every day :main_rolleyes:

Now all i have to do is teach them that pooping on the hides is naughty....although i dunno how as Yoshi is a year old now and still does it :wall:
