One word my friend...............GLAD.
You can use those for a humid hide and water dishes as long as they're low enough for your gecko to access. Just cut a hole in one that is bid enough for them to fit into and make sure it's not sharp and cannot cut him/her. Then, put paper towels or peat moss and spray then put it in the hide like a bedding. :main_yes:

Yes - the humid hide can double as a lay box.

as for cheap hides that depends if you want natural or not natural.

Coconut hides are about the cheapest natural hides i have seen. 1-3 dollars

Un-Natural hides or lay box- (Butter tubs) (any plastic food container) cheap and effective but not nice to look at.

If you want cheap natural hides Ebay is where they are at.

Use these search words: "Reptile Cave" or "Coconut Cave"

old glass ashtrays make good food/water dishes---garage sale/ebay :) cheap!
