SO, I got a leo from a local large chain pet store, and in a group I am in, it was asked if she was gravid. They asked this because she gain quite a bit weight since I got her. So, when I got her she was 25 grams. That was on the 13th of July. Next weigh-in was on the 19th, and she was at 30 grams. I weighed her yes yesterday, and she was at 33 grams. Is she gaining too much weight? Her tail is full and her body is normal looking… Should I worry that she could possibly be gravid? The communal tank she was in had around 5-6 juvenile geckos, all around her size and age. They all had been there for a while. I was thinking that geckos don't mature at 6-9 months? Or am I wrong to assume this? They did not have any belly heat, calcium, or humid hide. all *looked* fairly OK for being in that tank…I just chalked up the weight gain to eating really good. She eats really really good. Worms, and dubia.
