Is my gecko gravid?

She is around ~ 7 months old. She has been housed with my ~ 7 month old male for about a month (not thinking that they would mate due to being young). I don't know her exact weight but it's probably not the ideal weight for breeding.

She has a couple of white "things" visible through her belly (not including the urate) and it seems they are in the same areas where eggs would form.

These pictures were taken right after she was fed.

Could she be pregnant?

Or is it something else?

Thanks

I agree; that does look like an egg on the right.

Make sure you read up on proper locations and hides/tuperwares for her to lay in. :)

How long do eggs take to form into that size? I've only had them together for about a month and a month ago they were both around 6 months old. I read that they don't become sexually active until about a year old.

If that is an egg, would she be able to survive laying it? Because she is only about 7 inches in length and the fattest part of her tail is 0.5 inches. I don't know her weight.

And yeah I've separated them.

Walmart has some cheap gram scales if you could find one.

Dont panic! Back in the early days breeding at 35 grams was common believe it or not and that was ONLY because we didn't know any better. Do NOT think that that's an acceptable weight these days but I'm just saying with extra attention to detail and good husbandry she will have a better chance. Key now is to keep a lay box available and moist hide. Food and supplements should be available always even if she doesn't eat have a few fatty wax worms available. Things could be worse. There's plenty of knowledge here on the forums to get you through this.

Here are some photos from yesterday of a light shining through her:

Are eggs supposed to be transparent like this? Or maybe they aren't eggs but rather fat?

I could be wrong but looks like eggs to me.... Just to be sure make a lay box. Coconut fiber is my fav, not too sopping wet but moist. Someone can correct me on my numbers but I think its 16 - 22 days after copulation is when she would lay. Then every 2 - 3 weeks after that. Provide the right conditions and nutrition and you should be ok.
