Okay so i have two leopard gecko's (i love those little guys). And recently their bellys became dark purple, ******** said it was due to over feeding. So i started feeding them less, and the dark spots cleared up a little. One of geckos started acting healthier and more energetic and the other stayed lethargic. The one that stayed lethargic got pale. Tonight he is very bright and not pale anymore, but he is still lethargic. And this is what concerns me...he has this weird now it has two thin yellow oblong almost tisue like spots have appeared on his belly and as i examined it they seemed to dissappear and then reappear. Im just worried about the little guy, and ill do whatever it takes to get him healthy and happy. Please respond asap. Btw both geckos are juvenile. Thank you for your help.

If it is a female she could be ovulating, as far as food goes a lot of us leave mealworms available 24 hours a day so overfeeding should never be a concern and the "energetic" may be them looking for more food. We need to know a little more about the enclosure set up to help i.e. hot side, cool side temps etc. If you could post a pic of the belly when it happens again then we will be better able to see.

I'm also wondering if the one who's still lethargic may have just shed. They go pale before they shed and get brighter afterwards. Sometimes they won't eat and don't really like to be handled much while they're shedding, too
