Is my hatchling dying ???

He hatched with the pink thing hanging from him? Afterwards a few minutes passed and he bit off the pink mass and started oozing whitish fluid from him..? This happened a minute ago..

Was just wondering if he's dying or not or if I should put him down?

looks as though his umbilicus it still attached. just keep an eye on him and keep his enclosure misted well.
