I've been sick with the flu and haven't checked on him for a few days. My husbands been feeding all of my critters for me and reported they were all fine. Today I came to check on Leonard and he was in a full shed the only shed that he was able to get off was his head so I sprayed him real good and came back an hour later. He was in his cool hide not moving I lifted his cool hide off of him his back was arched and the shed had not come off. I picked him up and I felt movement inside his body and he was making a noise( it almost sounded like when a humans stomach growls) then he proceeded to open his mouth and shallow hard several times I thought he was fixing to regurgitate his food on me. I assisted him in getting the rest of his shed off and he seems a little more active. Do you guys think he's sick what was that noise I was hearing and why was he opening his mouth constantly, he's not aggressive at all so I don't think he was trying to bite me. Help.

If he's croaking a lot you should take him to the vet to see if he has a respiratory infection. I had a gecko this late winter who was croaking every time I picked him up and had some mucousy looking stuff in his nose. I got some antibiotics to give him. It worked and he's fine now.

ok thanxs. He seems fine now he's active and is acting normal. He's never eaten his shed before I wonder if in his struggle to get his shed off he swallowed some and was trying to regurgitate it. He's never acted like that before so I was worried. If he does have a RI would he act weird one minute and fine the next.
