Is something wrong with my gecko?

I have an adult female Leo that I've had for a few months now and lately she's been acting a little strange. She hasn't been eating, which I know is fairly normal (her tail's really fat too so I don't think she's ill), but she's been clawing at the glass of her cage, which she's never really done before. She'll get up all the way on the tip toes of her hind legs and just dig away at the glass, like she's trying to climb it or something. Then she'll loose her balance and fall over, then try again at a different spot. She does this very insistently too, like she's agitated. Is she bored or something? I rearranged the cage a few weeks ago to give her something different, but it would seem odd for her to react to that now. I dunno, maybe I"m just being paranoid, but I want my Petri to be happy. :(

Mine always behave the way you're describing when I clean their cages, and I am not even re-arranging anything. A few weeks is a long time for that behavior, but if it was my gecko, I wouldn't worry about it one bit. Unless...

you can't give an answer like that without making sure you're husbandry is correct. You can look up one of the leo caresheets here and check it against how you're keeping yours.

I've had leopard geckos for over 25 yrs now and every gecko Ive had has done this. This is normal behaviour. At night when I look at my rack they are all doing it LOL.Nothing to worry about.I would not change your geckos enclosure>If u keep rearranging their enclosures it really stresses them out
