ok so i just got my new guy, and he eats a ton!!

seriously i must have fed him 11 mealworms last night, before he quit. maybe i should have just stopped but i figured if he wanted to eat that much why not let him? plus i was curious how much he would actually go for.

especially seein as how i can barely get my female to eat.

i thought my female was in good shape, but based on this, and seeing how much he eats compared to her (seriously she probably eats a total of 3 crickets a week, if that), im going to be taking some of her stool in to get checked out.

is it possible to over feed your fattys? most of the geckos i have seen have just quit when they got full... but this guy... 11!!!!!! its insane!!!

Well... my leo has eaten 14 mealworms and 3 crickets in 1 feeding... and thats when she was 25 grams... so 11 isn't even that much. Just let him eat what he wants.

Yup he knows when to stop eatting. If he does eat to much he'll just barf and he'll learn his lesson and never do it again. My leo had 30 mealies the first night i offered them to her, she threw up and now stays at a costant limit of 20 if shes really hungry. If not she knows the mealies will be there when she is and just snacks on 15 at a time. Shes a very chunky girl to say the least.

Depending on your geckos size you should either be feeding him every day or every other day.

Mohamed he is an eater... He loves both crickets and mealworms too.. I mostly fed him crickets, but when I would feed him mealies, he loves 'em. But good luck with him. I, too, can't wait to see pics you get of him.
