i have 1 female leopard gecko in a 10 gallon tank. i've had her for about 5 months and was wondering if anyone had any insight on perhaps introducing another gecko (female). is it too late? how do i do it, i cant just plop one in there and expect them to magically get along. anyone with experience please help. i want to expand my leopard gecko family :D

Hey breanna, it's great that you want to get some other geckos:). However, two Leopard geckos in a 10 gallon tank won't do. The minimum "rule" is 10 gallons per Leo. So to say, you could buy a 20 gallon, and if your two females get along, they could live together. No, it isn't too late at all, I have about a year old Leo, at 50 grams, and another one, not sure of the age, at about 35 grams. I'm going to wait until they're about the same weight, then introduce them in a completely different environment(example, a tub that's new). Good luck!

okay first you need a bigger tank 10 gallon PER gecko

second quarantinne the new gecko

third put them both in food tubs and show them to each other

forth but them in a bath with towels down and let them both out keep a bit of cardbored to hand to seporate if there is a fight if they get long put them into a tank watch them for a view hours

fith check the geckos every couple of hours and check for bite marks every other day
