Is this a crocodile gecko?

I bought this little guy as a crocodile gecko and wanted to get confirmation. He's about four inches long. I didn't want to bother him too much, so I was only able to get one decent photo. I can try again later if you need though. His tail is pretty thick, the proportions are very similar to a leopard gecko.

Ha! Pleasantly plump! Interesting looking animal. How is their temperament?

I was biting my tongue on saying morbidly obese...too late. Makes me laugh at the posts of people stating one can't make leopard geckos fat.

The ones I kept were a little skittish, and as the one shown implies...very much little garbage disposals.

Haha, thanks. I'm not sure exactly how much they were feeding him, but I'd rather he was eating too much than not enough. I'll try to slim him down some.

Well, I thought I'd share what happened today. I came home to find what I'm 95% sure is an egg in my croc's tank. It's about the size of one of her feet, with a hard shell. It's stuck the top of a piece of wood where she likes to bask.

It's probably infertile right? When I got her she was alone in her tank, no idea if there'd been other geckos with her previously.

There's so much controversy between the:
- crockadile gecko/moorish gecko (Tarentola mauritanica)
- bibron gecko (Pachydactylus bibroni)
- turners gecko (Pachydactylus turneri GRAY 1864)
A lot of the Tarentolas species resemble eachother

The shub on him blows my turners away, S/HE IS HUGE!
