New to Leos and a friend is trying to sell these to me. Not sure what kind they are.

What they are right now is too young to tell. The one on the left is a bit lighter and has more of a chance of losing all its spots and becoming a superhypo but there's no guarantee. I'd recommend waiting another 6 weeks or so in order to get more of an idea of how they'll turn out.

the one on the left looks like mine, & after having him for almost a month the bands have disappeared and is more of a solid tang. I'd wait it out
