Ok everyone here are a few eye shots of a Tremper Enigma het Raptor that might be a Nova. One of the Eyes was showing a good bit of Eclipse Eye trait after it's first shed. It's now starting to fade a bit but is still Visible. Let me know what you guy's think.

The First pic is of the non-Eclipse eye for reference.

Could it be just a bunch of dark veining that makes it look like a Eclipse eye???

In the past I have had RAPTOR x Normal Tremper not het for anything consistently hatch geckos that had that kind of pigmentation in their eye [sometimes even more]. I have not had one keep it past 6 months of age. So.. I don't know if you would call it an Eclipse or not.. But you can always test breed it and see what happens.

I'd say yes, it's the "Eclipse" trait alright, but it will almost certainly fill in with the normal pigment as it ages.

It was way more visible a week ago. So I had a feeling that it was going to fade by adulthood. Oh well I have pics a least.

Who would have thought that a Carrothead Jungle Albino Female could be a pos het Eclipse. I hope that the last to eggs from this female further back up her genetics. She sadly Ended up passing away a month or so ago just kinda otta the blue. :main_thumbsdown:

Sorry about the female--that part never gets any easier. I hope your last 2 from her are amazing. On the eye thing--that doesn't surprise me at all. I have a theory that any Tremper that is jungle/stripe or reverse stripe can produce Raptors when bred to a Raptor--even the ones produced in the years before the first aptor was produced.
