That is the most faded out tremper eclipse on the planet then.

I wouldn't call it a Tremper Eclipse for sure, either. It could be an aberrant combo of the Tremper Blizzard with eye marbling contributed by the Blizzard genes.

I'm not saying it is not. I'm just not as confident as others that it is, in fact, a DB. That is why I will test breed her this year with a male RAPTOR het Blizzard. If all Tremper Eclipse babies result with some of them being DBs, then I will be confident that what you are asserting is 100% correct or that she is at least an odd RAPTOR het Blizzard. Until then, I am merely allowing for the other possibility. If she has a mix of babies, that would provide me with information, too.

I had two Tremper Blizzards (with no known Eclipse in their background) that had solid red eyes for a long time. One's eventually darkened into a more typical marbling pattern, while the other met a sad accident at the hands of my girlfriend. Weird stuff sometimes comes out. I think you've probably encountered weird stuff more often than I have, too, due to your greater experience with these animals.

wierd stuff happend alot and test breeding is a common thing at my house ;)

I do agree with you that test breeding is needed in this case.
