Is This Enough to Start a Colony?

I got 2 packs of mealies yesterday from a pet store and there are atleast 50 or 60 in each pack, is this enough to start a colony? They have been in the fridge but there is still a bunch of shed skin. (Of-course I wouldn't keep them in the fridge if I actually started the colony.) So do you think they could be a colony even though they have been in the fridge and they are still really small, so they will have to grow a little while.
Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks!

if you set aside one of the tubs completely it should be enough for a small colony. it all depends on how fast you go through them, it might take a few weeks for them to start changing into pupae or a few days, you never know.

Ok, I have this 2.6 liter container, could I use that? It would be holding like 80-120 mealies, would that still work?
