Is this normal for gecko to poop in their worm pitt

Hi this is my 2nd post of the day. I have been notice that both of my two yoyng gecko always poop and peep in their worm pit which cause my worms dies alots . I put them seperately in plastic shoe box . is this sign of strees:main_laugh:

Maybe they have desginated that spot their poop spot, try moving the worms to a different spot...?? Lol

I have try to change but result is the same lol what the heck?

Maybe change dishes? Or leave that dish there & put the worms in a different one?? I don't know....

I have change
1. Place of my meal worm pits
2. Change from plastic to ceramic
3. Change color of my mealworm pit in the aqurium

The result is my little guy just come out rom his hide and pee or poop in the pit over and over for almost 2 week

That is really strange.....is he eating at all before pooing in the dish?

Just don't use a worm dish. You can put the worms directly on the paper towel in front of your little guy. Let him have your worm pit as a toilet if he insists :main_laugh:
