is it OK to have a water bowl on the left, a cave in the middle, and a plant on the warm side. I also have a daylight basking bulb and a blue night light. For substrate i have reptile turf. ill try to post a picture soon.

You need a hide on the warm side, and a moist hide.

You need an under the tank heater.

Bulbs are not important.

How u set up you tank is up to you. Requirements are: warm hide, cool hide, moist hide, water, calcium, UTH, and temp gauges. Decoration and where you put everything is up to you

Heat bulbs are fine as long as you make sure it doesn't get too hot. I have kept a gecko in a tank with nothing but a red bulb as the heat source for 2 years and she's as healthy as ever. Althouh you do need the rest of this stuff.
